Northern Michigan gives us an extraordinary range of places to work—from downtown Traverse City and historic buildings to beaches, vineyards, forests and the Lake Michigan shoreline.

I create on-location photography for individuals, families, businesses, publications and creative teams throughout Traverse City, Leelanau County, Old Mission Peninsula and the surrounding region. Assignments can include environmental portraits, lifestyle photography, editorial stories, hospitality and travel imagery, architecture and branded content.

Location is never just a backdrop. I work with available light when it serves the image, and enhance or shape the light when the situation calls for it. The goal is to use the environment, the light and the character of a place to make photographs that feel connected to where they were created.
