Michael Poehlman is a portrait and fine art photographer, primarily. He has photographed, produced, and art directed all over the world, both living and working for substantial periods of time in New York City and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
His approach is simplicity. Simplifying the frame, the lighting, the styling, and the expression, to Michael, has the most visual impact.
He’s worked with some of the most outstanding people and artists in the business, and he has brought much of that experience back home to Northern Michigan.
