| BIO Michael is a certified, bona fide commercial, portrait and fine art photographer...AND an art director and producer and all-around creative. Based out of the pretty pinky of Northern Michigan (consult your hand map), Michael juggles photo assignments with art direction and production projects, often bouncing between Michigan, New York, and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Before moving back to Michigan, Michael spent 14 years in NYC, first, as a photo exhibitions coordinator for Aperture, and then later as a photo editor & art director for Getty Images. His last three years between NYC and Michigan were spent as a creative director and commercial photographer in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Michael continues to creatively advise, art direct and produce commercial creative media for advertising & news clients and photographers worldwide. Has camera....has ideas....will travel...
